Do you want to stop editing completely? Or just disable the double-click to edit mode?

Well, In fact I’m looking for the way to edit the document only for the autor or those who has (admin) role, for instance.
Anyway How can I disable the double-click edit mode?
thanks

You can always add somt code in the QueryModeChange to see if the current user is the author or an admin. If not, just out a continue=false statement.
That should do it.

You may want to review the database ACL. For normal users they should only have ‘Author’ access. This will restrict them to being able to edit the documents they have created or those for which their name (or a group they are in) is listed in an Authors field in the document. For those other people in the Admin role in the ACL they should probably be given ‘Editor’ access.
If everyone has Editor access then they can edit any document they like so your next course of action might be to put Readers fields in documents.
