I’ve just installed DUC 1.2.3 on AIX 5.2 and Cisco Unity for a client and I have several questions not answered by the extensive documentation.
1 - How is mail routed, does the Unity server build the mail and drop it into the mail.box or does the DUC software build the mail and drop it into the mail file.
2 - Can a single Unity server communicate with several DUC servers and route mail accordingly.
3 - The end user is miffed at having to install client side software. If he decides his users can live with launching a media player, what other functionality is he missing out on.
I have to say DUCs looks fantastic as a product but the lack of documentation is frustrating.
