Domino server hangs moving DAOS to other partition

Hallo together,

I tried to move the DAOS folder to another partition, due to low space on the existing partition.

1) I configured a new disk of 4 TB as GPT and a new partition (F:) on it.
2) Changed the DAOS location path in the server document
3) Shutted down the Domino server and copied with robocopy the DAOS folder from the partition E: to F:
4) Changed the path value in the daos.cfg
5) Checked the DAOSBasaPath in the notes.ini to check the new path
6) Restarted the whole machine.

After the new start, the domino server crashed.

1) Restarting the domino server, but the only tasks starting were the nserver.exe, nevent.exe and nlogasio.exe. The server hanging for a while (about 3 hours)

2) I stopped the server, tried to start a fixup on the data folder, nothing happened, the fixup task hanging too. Tried to rename the translog folder in translog.old , and started another time the server, without errors, the new translog folder has been created and filled with new translog files, but anyway the server seems to hang all time.
In the server console i can read that it checked successfully the consistence of statrep.nsf and event4.ntf but after it stopped to scroll. The only tasks that are running at time are only: nserver.exe, nevent.exe and nlogasio.exe. I supposed, that the server tries to get consistent the translog and i waited until now (about 24 hours later), hoping it could get these file consistent and starting all other processes. But nothing is changing: since about one day (!) the server console is still showing the same, no informations in log.nsf, no logs are filled under the IBM_Technical_Support folder, absolutely nothing.
I can only see in the resources monitor, that the nevent and nlogasio processes are still running and writing on partition D: (Translog) and sometime on partition E: (Data).
The nserver process uses costantly about 10% of CPU.
In the translog folder i can see that the date of the TXN. files is the date of creation, looking like the server is not updating these files.....
I am now very dubious, if Domino is repairing the translog or what....

Running on Windows Server 2012 64 Bit
Domino Server Release 9.0.1FP6

Very Thankful for any help.
Thank you in advance !

When I moved DAOS folder in the past I've always deleted daos.cfg and let Domino recreate it but I don't know if this could help...

Then you should obviously run a resync.

Hi @Corrado Maiolini

Take a look at this article I think that could help you:

If there is nothing special on E:, you could exchange the drive letters of E: and F: drives

Hallo und Danke !

Manchmal denkt man zu kompliziert und vernachlässigt die einfachsten Lösungsansätze......
