Domino Server for Macintosh?

Is it me, or is there no Domino 6 Server for Mac? I could really use it for a project I’m on, and I’m hoping it’s just that I can’t find it, rather than it doesn’t exist. Can anyone shed some light?

Mac can only do the client.

Is there Macintosh server?

Subject: No there isn’t.

I think Aditya was asking a secondary question, re whether the Mac can run as a server at all (as we all know, there’s no Domino server). Well, yes it can, and OS X comes in a server-oriented “flavour.”

Thanks Ben for clarifying my question. The reason I asked, I am not quite familiar with Mac as a server.

It’s a relatively new beast: http://www.apple.com/xserve/

Subject: Lotus Domino running on Mac Server (Xserve G5)

Are there any plans to port the Lotus Domino code to the Macintosh Xserve G5 ?

My client is currently running Lotus Domino on OS/400, but we would like our failover servers to be a non-Microsoft operating system. Since we have both Windows and Mac OS X Notes clients here I thought this would be a great idea.

We don’t want to spend money on a new AS/400 box and we do not have any Linux expertise. The Mac Xserve G5 is 64-bit and affordable and starts at $2,999 USD.

True, but even straight OS X is a full blown UNIX BSD system. As potent as a Win2K Server and more reliable (I say this as a Windows user, but I watch my wife using her UNIX BSD machine for design work because it’s a Mac…)

But, right Domino is out for AIX and some other UNIX flavors, but not BSD and not the Mac.
