Hi,
I have a R6 environment and want to monitor the R6-Servers with DDM running on a R8-Server.
This is running for TCP-Task (HTTP, SMTP, FTP,…) very well, configured like the documentation redp4089.pdf (RedBook from IBM).
I can not monitor other Events like ‘Router Task ist down’ or ‘dead mails’ in mail.box?
Is this possible?

Unfortunately, DDM will not be able to monitor pre-R7 servers as this functionality is not backwards compatible. For those servers which are pre-R7 in your environment, I would suggest relying upon event generator/handler native to those versions.
