I am having a problem with the domino domain being inserted into the mail address when users reply to Internet e-mail (eg. user@hotmail.com @domain). Here’s some background information. In order to transition to a new Domino domain, I have set up a second server with the new domain. The mail is received on the old server, and then routed to the appropriate server based on the settings in the person document. This allows me to transition users individually and work with them through any problems. This has worked quite well, but one problem that has emerged is that the domino domain of the old server is inserted into the address when a user on the new server replys to an Internet e-mail message. It appears that this is coming from the From Domain field in the message. I read some information indicating that the global domain document is the key, but I haven’t found a solution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try removing the domino domain if it is entered in the domain field on the mail tab of the person document with the user@hotmail.com @domain error.
