Is there a way to remove a password from a server ID that is stored in the Domino Directory? I would like to have Domino start up automatically without requiring a password to be entered. I know I can use server.id file instead of the directory but I would prefer to use the directory.

I don’t think you can remove a password from a server ID that stored in the Domino Directory. But you can reove password from server.id using Configuration - Certification - ID Properties and then change Password. For server.id you would have button No Password.

AFAIK, in order to access the Domino Directory, you have to autheticate. If you want to have the server start automatically, you will have to detach the ID from the Directory.
