Domino 8.5.1 with what version of Sametime Limited Use (Entry)?

We are currently on Lotus Notes/Domino 8.0.1.

We are also running Sametime 7.5.1 Limited Use on Domino 8.0.1 with Notes Client 8.0.1 (integrated Sametime).

I would like to upgrade to Lotus Notes/Domino 8.5.1 soon, but I have just realized that none of Sametime version supports Domino 8.5.1…(well…Sametime 8.5 is supported but not tested nor certified by IBM)

  1. For those who already upgraded to Domino 8.5.1 - what version of Sametime are you running? Sametime 8.5? If so, any issues?

  2. For those who run Sametime 8.5 on Domino 8.5.1 - Looking at the detailed system requirements for Sametime 8.5, I noticed that IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.1 standard (with Sametime 8.5 client upgrade installed) is one of the requirements. What I don’t quite understand is “(with Sametime 8.5 client upgrade installed)” - does this mean that I have to install “Sametime 8.5 client upgrade” (such thing exists?) over Notes Client 8.5.1?

  3. If I upgrade my domino server to Domino 8.5.1 and client to Notes 8.5.1 yet leave Sametime as is (Sametime 7.5.1), do you foresee any problems? (since integrated Sametime in Notes Client 8.5.1 will be higher version than Sametime 7.5.1 server…?)
