Hello.
I have a strange problem. I want to integrate Lotus Domino 7.0 with DB2. I have installed the Lotus Domino Server 7.0 on a different machine than the DB2 Enterprise Server FP10. I have installed IBM DB2 Access for Domino on the DB2 machine and the DB2 run-time client on the Domino machine.
I have placed the dll key in the program directory of Lotus Domino, so I am able to click on the activation wizard. However, once I enter all needed information on the wizard and click “activate” nothing happens. Well almost nothing, the field for the database name is being emtpied and focussed. But nothing else. I don’t get any error message. Can somebody help me on this one? I wasn’t able to find a solution on here yet. Thanks in advance.
Subject: Domino 7 ↔ DB2, Activation agent doesn’t seem to work
I was able to figure out that this was a matter of agent execution rights on the freshly installes Domino server. Now I am able to configure the DB2 connect. However, once I restart the server, I get an error message (at least) now. Anyone came across this before? It seems I’m the only one having problems with the connect.
The errormessage is:
DB2NSFInit Error creating DB2 Database DOMINO sqlcode=-1337.: Failed creating DB2 Database.
I’m completely new to the DB2 topic, but I tried to follow the instructions as close as possible. I’m lost. Thanks for any advice.
