Domino 6.5.4 on win2000 with Trend Micro 5.5 AntiSpam server + one query

Hi All,

    We are trying to put One Domino 6.5.4  server on the same server  machine with same IP address along with the Trend Micro Interscan MSS server .However we are using the SMTP ports and the POP3 ports of the Domino different than that used by Trend Micro IMSs server.IMSs server is used as a relay for the domino .However we are not able to send the mails to the external world and it is giving some SMTp  loop error and the mails are being queued in the IMSS server end.Can we do it  in the same box at all ?However when we use the different machine with different IP for the Domino and Trend micro IMSS mail routing is perfect.Where are we doing the error ?

You need to determine which server will be sending email to the outside world. Then, set that server to the as the primary smtp relay. after that you can set domino as smart host to relay messages to the imss server. Change the port umber to what ever you want. but you need to configure the trend server to relay to this ports.
