Domino 6.02 And Symantec problem on SuSe

Hi,

I installed LD R6.0.2 CF1 on Suse 8.0.

After installation of SAV (build 3.0.0.35) i got some error messages:

/opt/Symantec/nntask: relocation error : /opt/…/nntask : undefined symbol : __vt_7filebuf

    libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x421ad000)

    /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

    librt.so.1 => /lib/librt.so.1 (0x422e4000)

    libresolv.so.2 => /lib/libresolv.so.2 (0x422f6000)

undefined symbol: __vt_7filebuf (./nntask)

undefined symbol: __vt_3ios (./nntask)

undefined symbol: __vt_9streambuf (./nntask)

I already tried to install domino with symantec antivirus on Suse 8.2. I have same result.

Did somebody resolve this problem?

The same issue with Redhat.

SAV is working on Redhat 7.3 on Domino R601. But SAV stops with same error on Domino R602CF2.

I wonder who will fix that - IBM or Symantec?

I found solution:

This problem is caused by the Critical Fixpack for Domino. At the moment, the only way to get this working, is NOT to install the Fixpack.

We had this problem.

This problem solved in Symantec AntiVirus\Filtering built 3.0.0.37
