I have secondary NAB with about 5000 email addresses for a company, all email addresses it this NAB lat say have domain @old_domain.com this company has changed recently public domain name to lat say @new_domain.com I need to change all email addresses to new domain name, these are not used for anything else, no authentication, no notes id, they just used for email lookup… can I script this ?

you don’t need script. Something like this in an agent should work:
olddom := @Right(InternetAddress; “@”);
SELECT @LowerCase(olddom) = “old_domain.com”;
local := @Left(InternetAddress; “@”);
newdom := “@new_domain.com”;
FIELD InternetAddress := local + newdom

first of all thanks for reply, an sorry for asking probably basic questions but I’m notes admin without any notes development skills I want to make sure I have all nail down before I run you agent, I’m assuming the only part I need to replace from above is old_domain.com and new_domain.com everything else remains the same? also since I have multiple address books how do I tell against which NAB to run this agent?

Assuming that the secondary address book is not being replicated with the company for which it holds the information (thus probably meaning it is kept up to date manually) then you can easily change all the mail addresses using an agent.
But I guess this is the case, because otherwise it would have been automatically updated when the other company changed addresses.
