Does Notes Client support rendering mht attachments with embedded images?

Hi team.

Hope you're all doing great.

Do you happen to know if Notes Client support rendering mht attachments (including embedded images within it) within its internal browser?

A customer receive notifications from a security device, and they are sent as mht attachment with embedded images; when opening it in Notes Client, it renders the mail without the images, but shows a huge amount of attachments, which are images:

When opening the same email from Verse, for the same user, the images are properly shown embedded in the rendered email, and there is only one attachment (the .mht):

Notes: Verse is installed on the same Domino Server; Notes client is accessing user's mailbox from server, this is, there is no local replica.

Notes: 12.0.2 FP4

Domino: 12.0.2 FP5 HF 1

Verse: 3.2.3

Hi

It seems user is not using embedded browser for showing MIME emails (set in Basic Notes Client Configuration in preferences) . Enabling it may render it correctly.

We checked and it is like this:
