Does IBM Notes 9 have an Impact of Upgrading the Oracle 10g to Oracle12g

Hi Friends,

Can you all suggest your ideas about, does IBM Notes 9.0.1 have an impact on Upgrading the Oracle from 10g to 12g ?

We are planning to migrate Oracle from 10g to 12g version, Some of our Lotus notes applications are using Oracle 10g for fetching the data, and we want to know does this migration will affect the process happening in Notes ?

If there is an Impact in 12g upgrading , then can we upgrade a Oracle version of 11.2.0.4 ?

Subject: Depends on how your application works

For example how does your application connect to Oracle (using LSODBC or DECS) ?ODBC is relatively version agnostic but DECS / LEI might need an updated oracle client as well.

Best practice is always to test this upgrade in a development environment first.
