Is it possible that the Notes 7.0.2 client works differently from 7.0.1 regarding document locking?
I have a situation where the UI document needs to be saved in the PostOpen event. I have been scrupulous about not updating the backend document, and acall source.save() in the PostOpen. On 7.0.2 I get a save conflict when I manually Ctral-S save it.
This problem only occurs when Document Locking is enabled for the database.
The problem does not seem to follow the .ID file (so ruling out Access Control issues): it does not occur for my .ID file on a 7.0.1 client (no designer), but it does occur for another ID file on my 7.0.2 client (with designer).
Should I try something else?
I have noticed that immediately after the PostSave event, source.document.lockholders contains my name. But again, not on 7.0.1, only on 7.0.2.
