All,We want to hide some of the document from users , but admin can see that . Like Admin will select some documents and those documents will be hidden from some of the users but admin can see all the doc. If admin wants he can again enable that documents so that all users can see.Any idea will be app. .This we have to done in Web.Currently we have only one view .
The most secure way to do this is to use reader fields along with roles:
create a role in the ACL, named, for example, [ReadAll]
create a role in the ACL, named, for example, [Admin]
give your administrators the [Admin] role and assign the [ReadAll] role to all persons or groups that should be able to see all documents
create a checkbox-field (“HideDocument”) on your web-form and hide it so that it is only visible with the [Admin] role. The hide-when formula looks like this:
@If(@IsMember(“[Admin]”;@UserRoles);0;1)
The value the admin could select should something like “hide document|1”
create a computed reader field that contains the value [ReadAll] when the Administrator checks HideDocument:
@If(HideDocument=“1”;“[ReadAll]”;“”)
An empty reader field does not limit the access to a document.
A reader field can contain user-names (CN=Name/OU=…/O=…), group-names or roles. If you try to assign multiple values: do not forget to check “allow multiple values” (just a warning)
