Document deleted

I have 2 domino servers with a replicated database within. A document of this database have disappeared and nobody erase it. The other replica have the document but i don’t know why it disappears. I have read the log but it is no information about the deletion. How can I discover why it disappeared?

You say it is on one replica but not the other? If that is what you meant to say, I would suggest looking at the replica where it is missing, and check the replication settings, including the cutoff date. You could clear any date you see there, and also make sure there is no differences between the two replicas’ replication settings that could be causing it.

Also, could it be a security thing, where a readers field doesn’t allow one server to see it? Or are you trying to see it using different users from one replica to the other and a readers field could be causing what you are experiencing?

Just some things to think about.

Thanks but I have checked all this cases and is all OK. My problem is that i don’t know how and why this document was deleted in only one replica. I have configured the replicator to not replicate this type of documents from the databases. Why it have disappeared in one database? Is possible that domino deletes one document of a database automatically?

how do you know it’s being “deleted”? Or is it just not there?

It’s just not here.

find the doc in the other database, go to document properties and look for a $Readers field/item. Is there one there? If not then how about $KeepPrivate? Let me know.
