I have one replica of a database. If I look at the first tab of the document properities for a document, I see a created (initially) of 2/20/2007, modified (initially) of 2/26/2007, added (in this file) of 2/20/2007, and modified (in this file) of 2/26/2007. If I look at the second tab, I see $Revisions that range from 4/10/2003 to 2/22/2007. How can $Revisions have a date that is almost 4 years before the document was created. Also shoudn’t the last entry in $Revisions be 2/26/2007 which is the modification date. In addition, the $UpdatedBy has entries for people that no longer work with the company and have been gone for at least a year before 2/20/2007. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks in advance.
Subject: Document dates, $Revisions, and $UpdatedBy
It depends on when the document was originally created. Was the document pasted/replicated to this database? For the $Revisions field, the edit prior to the last edit is added to this field, and the last edit is added to the ‘Modified in this field’ date in the Properties box on the Information (“i”) tab.
