Hello,
I have an agent that creates a bunch of documents in a database via LotusScript. If I go edit one of these documents in the browser, I can edit but not save (no error occurs). I then go save the document in the Notes Client and go back to the browser, edit and make a change and save and it works. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Rose

In your LS that creates the document do you do a computeWithForm on the document before saving it? The form might have some Computed or Computed when Composed fields that will not be initialized by simply creating the document as a backend Doc. The ComputeWithForm should fill these fields and then allow the Web Client to deal with them correctly.

Thanks, That did it (in the development environment). I will push it to production and cross my fingers!

There must be some error which is stoping domino from saving.View your log.nsf or have a look at the server while you are trying to save the document from web. There might be problem with any field which is trying to evaluate itself while the document is being saved.Server log file would give you an clear picture.
Another way would be removing fields in phases and trying to save the document from web.
Is there any agent running at webquerysave event.Good luck.
