From an actionbutton in a document we are creating mail to the creator of the document with a doclink in the mail. The doclink appears as an icon (the known yellow doclink-icon).
But when administrator_1 creates the mail with the doclink it appears as text (“Link”) - not as an icon in the mail. The link works OK.
Is there a setting for this or what could be the
reason?
Furthermore there is another link in the mail:
“Notes://MyServer/C1256A49004C5249/EAECB4256C22A3FCC1256AE1004553C3/C222F91808BF2C70C12570210036CBAE” which does not work when administrator_1 creates the mail. But it works when other administrators creates the mail from the actionbutton mentioned above.
Subject: Doclink appear as text - not icon.
Somehow or other, Administrator_1 is sending the document through SMTP, which is attempting to convert the doclink to something useful on the other side. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do a very good job of it. Check for why the administrator is sending through SMTP. Is he/she sending to the Internet address instead of the Notes address perhaps?

" … sending the document through SMTP"Do you mean the settings "sending mail directly to internet (instead of sending mail through a Dominoserver) in the profile document?
If so administrator_1 has the same settings as other administrators.
The mail is not sent to an internetadress - it
is sent to notes-users on the intranet who have their mail-boxes on the same server as the administrators.

Same problem here. Solved by clearing the proxy-field in the location document.
