Display contents in view

Hi All,

I have a form the admin to fill out the following fields:

Group Name: Customer 1

Members: Member name goes here

Purpose: Why is this group being created.

(There might be more fields)

This will be one of the rows in the view with these fields (columns). However, when the user clicks on the row, it’ll link to the form, everything is displayed in the form.

So might question is what’s the best way to handle the purpose field in the view, should it be text wrapped in the view, should I limit the characters or words to be displayed, or input, etc.

Please give me some feedback.

Have a nice weekend!

Thank you.

Subject: RE: display contents in view.

There’s no one answer to this; it depends how much of the Purpose field the users find it useful to be able to see from the view.

What I would probably try first, to get user feedback, is to put the Purpose field in the last column and use the option “Extend last column…” in the view properties.
