Disk cache in a calendar event in Verse

Hello everyone,

Please help us with the following situation. In the Verse calendar, we see the following:

When opening a calendar event in developer mode, we see disk cache:

Moreover, if we set the Disable cache flag in the top panel, then this entry is not there.
We tried to reproduce this situation on another similar server and there is no problem there:

Colleagues, what could be the cause of this problem? Why is the data taken from the disk cache? How can we fix this? What settings or parameters could affect this behavior in Verse? We would appreciate any ideas and help.

Thank you
Best regards,
Katrine Chu

Hi Katrine,

Thanks for sharing this observation. To help narrow down the cause of the disk cache in Verse, could you clarify a few points:

  • What version of HCL Verse On-Premises and Domino are running on each server?
  • Do the servers you’ve compared share the same network configuration — such as a reverse proxy, or load balancer?
  • Are there any differences in browser or server-side settings (e.g., authentication method, cache-control headers, session timeout) that might affect caching behavior?
  • Have you tested using incognito/private mode to rule out client-side caching or extensions?
