Error message in the Domino server log:
DIRSYNC: Customer ‘’, Server ‘CN=Servername/O=Org’, Filename ‘names.nsf’ has error ‘784:Specified item is not present DirSyncStateWarningTime’.
DirSync with password synchronisation runs for years without problems.
Domino server has been updated multiple times, now runs 14.5.
The error message above occurs every time the dirsync synchronisation runs (every minute).
I don’t remember seeing this message before the update to 14.5, but can’t be sure, it wasn’t there.
What I have tried already:
the Domino server has been restarted
I deactivated and reactivated DirSync in the config document.
I ran a “sync all”.
I updated the ADPwdSync installation on all AD servers to 14.5.
update:
names.nsf has 14.5 Domino Directory template, for sure
If offline maintenance has been performed for names.nsf, I suggest performing a replace design. Also, perform offline maintenance on da.nsf and ensure that the Verify button in the Directory Assistance for the DirSync document is working properly and not causing any issues.
And there is no item named “DirSyncStateWarningTime” in the da.nsf neither:
What surprises me is: In the error message, the item “DirSyncStateWarningTime” is mentioned that I could not find by searching both databases in Domino Designer. In particular, it is not in any of the forms. Where should the item come from then?
Has anyone a chance to check, if there is an item with this name in the English version of pubnames.ntf or da50.ntf? We only have the German version of both databases/templates.
Good day! I checked these two templates and verified that it does not have DirSyncStateWarningTime , Please find the attached images. I would suggest to open a case/ticket if you haven’t done so yet, so we can investigate it further.
