Most of the users feeling difficulty while placing Launch images in Images.xcassets file manually at Xcode 9. Because image sizes are not specified over there only iOS versions are placed. From Xcode 9 it is mandatory to have media.xcassets to push the application to Appstore.
To reduce your difficulty, I am providing the Launch images sizes which we need to keep in which section of Images.xcassets file at Xcode. Check with image sizes and place them accordingly.
