Difference between C API RegNewUser and RegNewPerson

Hi,I would like to know what is the difference between the two C API’s RegNewUser and RegNewPerson.

Can anyone please help?

you may try to read the documentation. RegNewPerson is available starting 7.0 and provides some latest functionality such as support of roaming users and handling of policies.

Thanks for the reply. I read the documentation but still have a question. Do the two API’s differ in functionality?

Following is the problem I am facing while using them:

If I register a user using RegNewUser, then the user is added with full canonical name which contains the organization hierarchy under which the user is to be created.

If I register a user using RegNewPerson, its added on the resource but does not contain the organization hierarchy under which it is added.

I am unable to understand why this is happening.
