I am upgrading a web application from R4 to R6 and have run into a problem.
A form has multiple Controlled Access Sections and specific users have access to different sections. Sections that have a Dialog List with the property “Allow Multiple Values” will lose data when the following occurs: The first user accesses their section with a web client and selects a keyword(s)in the Dialog List field and saves the document. The second user accesses that document goes to their section with a web client and selects a keyword(s) in the Dialog List field and when the document is saved the choices in the first section are lost.
This only happens in Sections that have a Dialog List with the property “Allow Multiple Values”.
This is very similar to a problem reported about keyword fields on the R4/R5 forum which says this is fixed by using the form property “Generate HTML for all fields”. This fix does not work for the Dialog List field with the property “Allow Multiple Values” and I have tried the “fix” with no success.
Does anyone else have this problem or had this problem before?? Any other solutions?
