Dialog box on the web

Hi All,

I need to open a dialog box over the web, it is a Comments Form and when I type the comments and say OK …the value of the comments should be brought over to the parent form from where I am opening the Dialobbox…

I have a Form Action button in a Parent form where I want to open a dialog box which has only one field say comments and usere pits in the comments and the value is carried over to the main parent form.

Any help would be appreciated.

Search for the prompt javascript function (mozilla, micro$oft, etc…)

and then, explore the DOM in order to put the entered value into your field.

(actually something like :

onClick=“var mv=prompt(‘Enter your name’,‘’);document.forms[0].MyField.value=mv;”

into your button.)
