Dialog before closing the Notes client

I notice that when I close my Notes client, it immediately shuts down. In the past I first saw a dialog asking if I was sure that I wanted to close the Notes client. Is there a way of making this dialog appear again?

To re-enable this confirmation prompt, follow these steps:

Via User Preferences

  1. Go to File > Preferences. (On macOS, go to Notes > Preferences).

  2. In the list on the left, click Basic Notes Client Configuration.

  3. On the right side, scroll down to the Additional options list.

  4. Find and uncheck the box labeled:

    Do not prompt when exiting Notes, Domino Designer/Administrator

  5. Click OK.

The next time you close your Notes client, it will prompt you for confirmation again.
