Detach attachment to specific filename

Hello all,

I’m not too hot on LotusScript and was wondering if there’s a formula way around a problem I’m having? Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

PROBLEM

============

I have a simple form where people can add a GIF attachment to a field. The attachment can be with ANY filename. When they click on the Save button, I have some code that runs the EditDetach command to detach the GIF attachment to a specific directory on their computer. However, I also need to save (rename) the attachment as a SPECIFIC filename MailIMAGE.gif. Any ideas how I can do this please?

At the moment, all I can do is save the attachment with its original filename which is what I do not want.

Thank you very much,

Dennis

According to the helpfile, you have two ways to use the EditDetach command:

@Command( [EditDetach] )

or

@Command( [EditDetach] ; sourcefile ; targetfile )

Isn’t option 2 what you are after?
