Dear Team
We have a requirement to develop Desktop web and SPA application (No need of mobile app). Do we need to create them separately ie. Desktop web and a mobile app which is ported as SPA or does Kony 8.x support direct porting to SPA from desktop or vice versa?
Also, pls let me know the rendering support for service response data in SPA using Kony 8.x
The platform porting option is deprecated in Visualizer which is supported only in Kony Studio 6.5 and below. Please find the below documentation for your reference.
You need to create different forms for both SPA and desktopweb channels in the Visualzier side. Kindly check and let us know if you need any further support.
But if we have same name for widgets, then how much % of Validation and Coding can we reuse. I am assuming 60-70% reuse. Since design would be little different, the widgets might change and it could call for additional changes in development
