Designer keeps flashing up when debugging

In 6.5.3 the designer panel on the left keeps flashing once for every step when stepping through code using the debugger.

Is this a new ‘feature’? What a pain.

Can it be stopped?

The flashing occurs (btw, also in R7 Beta4) when your debug window is overlapping the “Recent Bookmarks” sidepane in Designer.You can either resize the debug window so that it doesn’t overlap the “Recent Bookmarks” pane, or resize the “Recent Bookmarks” pane or hide it completely for the debugging session.
