Design Element reverts to version saved hours or day earlier

I strongly believe that this has something to do with Design Locking, since we have never seen it until we enabled Design Locking for our database.

Basically, I had a form that I modified weeks ago by adding new fields. One of my co-workers noticed a few days ago that changes he’d made to the form a day earlier were totally missing. I get into the form today, and all of my changes are totally missing. I know that the changes were there a week ago, but now they are gone. It’s like this form’s design reverted back two weeks or something. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

We’ve seen this kind of thing several times with some views and an agent too. We’ll work all afternoon on something, saving it as we go along, then when we close out of the design element and reopen it, the design element will have reverted to a save point hours earlier. Even the modified date/time will be set back hours earlier. It’s really frustrating. We’ve finally just turned locking off.

LOL. After further review. It looks like another developer was the cause of this form “reverting”. While merging code for our next template, it appears that this co-worker cut and pasted over the development version of our form with an old production verion. Beautiful. We have still had the other problems with view and agents, but those are all occuring within a matter of hours, while the design element is open in a single session (as opposed to weeks later like this form problem appeared to be). Sorry for the SPAM on the form. Keil.
