I can say that I’m an experienced Domino admin but I’ve never seen this. If someone could give me at least an idea of what is going on…
situation: 2 clustered servers S1 and S2 running D5.0.11 and R6.5 adresbook design
problem (client version doesn’t matter and it can be reproduced on all clients):
-
open person doc on S2 → linked document cannot be found in view

open group doc on S2 → opens doc but with person layout
-
person and group docs on S1 are OK
-
delete cache of client
-
person and group docs on S2 are OK
-
open person doc on S1 → opens doc but with group layout (and groups are OK)
-
outline of names.nsf on S1 is corrupt, you only see the views
-
delete cache of client
-
go back to step 1 and the problem repeats over and over
What I’ve done so far is resign the design, replace, refresh, updall, fixup, disabled cluster replication and replaced design + manual replication, restarted server S2, checked default view and form; nothing helped.
The problem only occurs on our clustered servers, the layout on all other servers is OK. The servers do not seem to give problems, it seems to be a UI issue.
Any feedback would be appreciated !
