I am trying to push out a Desktop Policy from a 6.5.5 Domino server to 6.5.4 users.
The only item in the Policy I have modified so far is the Corporate Welcome Pages database and the Default Welcome Page.
The Policy gets pushed down to the user correctly but for some reason (and after a lot of testing to narrow it down) the only way the Policy actually takes effect is if you delete and recreate the user’s bookmark.nsf.
Running maintenance on the local databases doesn’t work, replacing the design of the bookmark.nsf doesn’t work.
I haven’t found this issue in the forums or the Notes fixlist so I thought I would throw it out there…
