I have a user that is not able to see the little red exclamation mark when a message is sent to him with an importance of “high”. This is only an issue with the inbox view though. You can take the same message, move it to the trash, and magically the exclamation now shows. After digging deeper I found that any folders based on his inbox view will not show this icon either. There is another twist too. This is only true of messages received after a certain date and time. There are older messages in the inbox view which still show this exclamation.
I have tried refreshing and replacing the design of this user’s mail file with no change. I am leaning towards it being a user setting that got changed but for the life of me I can’t find it.
