Delivery Failure Report

Upgraded from 5.11 to 6.01 over the weekend. If a user sends a mail message with Confirm Delivery selected under Report Options they get the following failure report.

'Your message was successfully relayed by

servername.com to remote mail system ip#. Outbound support for confirmations is not

configured.’

This was working fine before the upgrade. Any ideas on what needs to be configured now???

Any input is greatly appreciated.

this is a known bug (or would IBM say an enhancement) that was introduced to the R6 server. I cannot remember that actual number of the technote, but if you search the tech database you will find a solution for this. The R& SMTP server is very confusing with far too many fields and many wiorking in the opposite way to R4/R5
