Deletion in mailbox replication setting, can it be set from server or agent?

Hello, In mailbox replication setting, there are some setting for deletion:

  1. Send tab, “Do not send deletions made in this replica to other replicas”

  2. Advanced tab, “Receive these elements from other replicas”

Can those setting be set from server or using agent?

The reason is, we have cluster mail server.

Some mailboxes are not sychronized by sizes

(30 MB in svr A and 3 GB in cluster svr A).

We found that some users disabled the deletion setting.

I thought cluster replication omit those setting, because user disabled the deletion setting for their local replica, but it caused their cluster mailbox are not replicated.

TIA,

Ivan

take a look at the IngnoreDeletes property of the NotesReplication class

Example

Read-write. Indicates whether outgoing deletions should not be replicated to other databases.

Defined in

NotesReplication

Data type

Boolean

Syntax

To get: flag = notesReplication.IgnoreDeletes

To set: notesReplication.IgnoreDeletes = flag

Legal values

True to not replicate outgoing deletions

False to replicate outgoing deletions

Usage

After setting this property, you must call Save for the changes to take effect. If you do not call Save, your changes are lost.

Hi Paul,

Thank you.

I thought there is a simple agent or setting.

But I will forward your information to our developer.

Thanks again.

Ivan.
