I’ve recently had disk space problems, and resorted to downing the domino server and deleting a 500mb+ log file. On bringing the server back up, I ran compact -B on the mail folder, where from the Files view in the Admin Client, I could see there was plenty of white space to recover from a number of mail files.
Since doing this, one user has reported that a number of emails (33) which were deleted in 08/06 have returned with a status of unread.
On checking the document properties, the field "Added…(in this file) was todays date.
The user her mailfile replicated to another server, but connectivity and replication has not been an issue.
Does anyone have an insight to what may have happened here?
