Several weeks ago I mistakenly set my OS date to 12-22-2010. I realized my mistake when I started seeing mail sent dates as 12-22-2010.
I fixed the OS date.
The sent dates went back to normal right away, but I noticed today that for mail I delete, the “deleted date” is showing as 12-22-2010. So I think there is something that is still retaining that 12-22-2010 date in Notes, and stamping it on the deleted mail.
Does anyone know what has happened, and how to re-set this so that the delete dates show the actual OS system date?
I did not see any reply to this one. However, I will update info myself in case it helps anyone.
The deleted date in hte trash was showing as 12-22-2010 for weeks prior to 12-22-2010, as decribed in the original post.
I was never able able to determine why, but as soon as the actual date passed 12-22-2010, Notes started to pick up the correct system date, and is currently showing the correct OS date for the deleted date of deleted emails.
Why? I don’t know. All I know is that right now, it’s fixed.
