It appears that Lotus Notes mail backups do not want to deduplicate.

Deduplication technologies:

Symantec Mediad server using the built-in PureDisk dedup engine. Front end software deduplication.

OEM Sepatons. Backend VTL deduplcation.
Both technologies seem to strugglem and savings from dedupklication are not that good. Looks there is something that is making the mail databases data appear to be unique. Any ideas?
