Hi,
I try to connect via DCR to Oracle and did the following:

started DECS on the Domino server
-
installed an Oracle client on the Domino server (and also did the settings for ODBC connection for Oracle)

tested successfully the connection from the Domino server to the Oracle server with ndctest.exe for both, native Oracle and also the ODBC
-
enabled a newly Lotus application for external data source
-
created a new DCR (DataConnectionResource) for native Oracle access in Lotus Domino Designer
-
if I click on browse MetaData, got an error like “Cannot browse for MetaData, because DECS is not running on this server”. DECS is definitly running.
-
same result if I try the DCR for ODBC.
Any ideas about this?
