DB2 Key File

Trying to get DB2 functionality working with Domino 7.0.2 on Centos 4.5 (basically RHEL4). I’m a DB2 newby so be gentle!

I have installed DB2 Express C 9.1.2 on the same server as Domino and followed the Notes Admin help documentation to enable the DB2 Server options.

When I restart the Domino server I get the following message on the console:

“Warning: DB2 will not be accessible by Domino until you copy the DB2 key file, libdb2key.so, to the Domino binaries directory.”

I have searched the filesystem on the server and cannot locate an existing file named libdb2key.so

I have also searched around the net but have not found anything useful relating to a DB2 Key file or a libdb2key.so file?

There is a mention in the IBM Lotus Notes Domino 7.0.1 Release Notes(http://www-12.lotus.com/ldd/doc/uafiles.nsf/docs/rn701/$File/rn701.pdf) referring to DB2 hotfix which mentions a DB2 Key File but its under the section for i5/OS and does not really help me.

Does anybody know how to resolve this problem?

Subject: DB2 Key File

A free test key file used to be available for download from developer works, but I can’t find it anymore. Probably it has been withdrawn, now that V8 has official support for DB2NSF.

Does anyone know if its still possible to test DB2 functionality on Notes7 or do I have to go to Notes8 now?
