Hi,
I have a form with many date fields. To make the form entries faster, my customer would like to simply enter MMDDYY in the date field (without entering any /), then I would translate it in a valid date format. Is it something possible?? I tried some code on the field exit event, but the pop-up “Unable to interpret Time or Date” shows up before my code.
Thanks for any help!

Subject: date entered as MMDDYY, then translated to MM/DD/YY, is it possible?
I think an InputTranslation formula will execute before Notes decides that the type of data is invalid …

No it does not, I already try it.

I can’t think of any way to do it using a date/time field. Is there any reason why you don’t just want to use a number or text field to enter the date?
