Date Display

Hi,

I am displaying a Date in the column. The column formula that i have given is

@Text(@Month(DistDate))+“/”+@Text(@Day(DistDate))+“/”+@Text(@Year(DistDate))

but i am getting the output as 12/4/2006 for a document on Dec’ 4

I want it to see the date as 12/04/2006.

Can anyone help me on this.

Consider something like :

d:=@right(“0”+@day(DistDate);2);

m:=@right(“0”+@month(DistDate);2);

d+“/”+m+“/”+@text(@Year(DistDate))

I’m not really sure why you don’t just have the field value of DistDate in the column and then set the column to be a date/time column (column properties->fourth tab-> select date/time). You can format it that way. If you absolutely need to have it be a text column for some reason use something like this:

dt1:=@Text(@Day(DistDate));

day:=@If(@Length(dt1) < 2 ; “0” + dt1 ; dt1);

@Text(@Month(DistDate))+“/”+ day +“/”+@Text(@Year(DistDate))
