Database quota exceeded

Hi all,

I have used MS Exchange before. Whenever the recipient mail quota exceeded, the mail still can get through although they can’t send any mail out.

But in Lotus Notes, whenever we try to send an email to a receipient whose mail box quota already exceeded, an error email bounced back.

Is there any way to configure the Lotus Notes Server such that it can behave like MS Exchange?

Subject: Database quota exceeded

In your configuration document for the mail server, go to the Router/SMTP tab → Restrictions and Controls → Delivery Controls. You’ve got some Quota Control fields here that you can modify. The one you want is “Over quota enforcement”, which you would set to “Deliver anyway”.
