Database inventory...solution

I have a database “warehouse” with that cargo and drainage the product of this…

I have this View :

a) View that show all cargos of … sorted by date

b) View that show all drainage of … sorted by date

c) View that with @dblookup of @sum qty of categorized

product of view (a) - view (b) show the lying of warehouse.

ALL is perfect…

Now my User would see all movements from a specific DATE

so… I need to Understand how I can realize this in Domino.

My User would view the view C with all movement to (for example) 31 October 2006…

But the document of View C use the @dblookup with a categorized view…it’s no possible add a condition to a result ( for example < 31/10/2006 ??)

Tnx To all…for any reply

Subject: Database inventory…solution

You could try this out:

  1. Create a view that is categorized by date. First sirted column is @Text(@Date(field you want sorted))

  2. Create a form with a date field which the user can populate named “ViewDate”

  3. Create a hotSpot button named “View Entries” with the code @Command([RefreshWindow]),

  4. Add embedded that view to the form and select “show single category” in the objects window. Put in the field name created above as a Text value ie: @Text(ViewDate).

  5. Add a text field named “SaveOptions” that is computed when composed. The value for the field should be “0”. This will prevent the document from being saved if you don’t want it saved.

I dont know if this would work, but you might want to try this. You can create views sorting by Month, Year etc.
