Database doc count property <> number of docs in select @all view - why?
The properties show about 55,000 documents, but a view with Select @All shows about 40,000.
I have manger access to the database…
I’m trying NotesPeek right now, but I wonder if there is anything else I should be looking at.
Thanks!!

Probably a lot of documents with a readers field. Unless your name is in the field, you are in a group that is in the field or have a role that is in the field then you are not going to see the doument. Manager access is meaningless when it comes to readers fields.

The way round this, if you have the admin client installed and have the rights to do so, is to turn on ‘Full Access Administration’. This will allow you to open databases that you would not normally have access to, and in this case, to see all documents in a database, regardless of whether they are restricted by Readers fields.
Another reason you might not be seeing all documents is, if your view is set to ‘Show Response documents in a hierarchy’, and you have ‘orphans’ - ie response documents that have had their parent deleted, then these will not show. Deselect that option in the view design and you should see all documents that you have access to.

Even though you have select @all, make sure the view is NOT showing responses in a heriarchy…
There could also be readers fields involved. Manager access does not override readers. You would need to use Full Access Administration for that.
Hope that helps
