Hi, we just finished migrating Exchange to Domino environment. We also have 2 servers that have SQL and there are some DTS that use the MAPI profile of the Outlook client to send alarm and notification mails. Due to the migration, our idea was to install DAMO and create a MAPI profile to connect to the Domino server. We did it and it works BUT ONLY when you are logged in to the server. This is because DAMO only works when it is opened, I know. I’ve tried to install DAMO as a Windows service but it is not starting, so I asked myself if anybody have had the same issue and if anybody have found a workaround for this or have same idea of how. I don’t understand when you say 2 servers that have SQL. I don’t know what DTS is.
In any case, it sounds like you simply need an email client to send email notifications. Take a look at:
