Hi everyone.I have a Domino application for the Web (Server and Client 6.5.4 + the Server has necessary language pack installed) and I came across a very strange problem with users in the Czech Republic.
Apparently Domino can’t understand Czech months!?
I have the users saving a document which has a date field set to be displayed with the long date format dd mmmm yyyy (for example: “30 říjen 2007”, which means “30 October 2007”).
Now, the users have a calendar control which they can use to help them place the date (in English) into the field.
When the document gets submitted (nothig is done to the field in the middle) Domino stores the date value correctly if the date was in English, but confuses the months if the date was in Czech.
I found that if I put “30 říjen 2007” in the field and save the document, when I go back in, Domino had set the field to “30 listopad 2007”, which is November!! I believe is setting all days to the current month!?
Also, if I set it to 31 of October, I get a “Unable to interpret Time or Date” error on the Server log, presumably because Domino is understanding that the user entered 31 of November.
As soon as I change the Windows regional settings to another language (polish for instance), the system works fine, so I’m pretty sure is not a problem with the application.
I’d very much appreciate some help with this.
Thanks in advance.
