I’ve been testing my R5 databases on Notes R6.5.5 and noticed that none of my custom colors are being applied to the text. It always chooses the “closest” standard color.
For other stuff than text (table backgrounds) it still takes the custom color, but not for text. This is very annoying for me, as I’m still heavily using Notes-apps inside the company (not webified) and subtle colour nuances are often quite useful… My customised Welcome page looks like shit (quite literally, it chose a dirty brownish colour to replace my nice green text…) now.
I’ve found very little reference to this issue apart from a few people finding the same. No responses from Lotus themselves and no useful entries in Lotus Support DB.
So? Anyone know what’s going on, or is this an issue that “has been reported to Lotus Quality Engineering” like in the olden days?
